Origins Market offers the best family-friendly dining in the heart of Busselton, the gateway to Western Australia’s South West.
The market food hall offers a dozen eateries serving up international cuisines including Balinese, Italian, Cuban, Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Mediterranean and Vietnamese, topped off with freshly scooped gelato and hand stretched sweets, freshly roasted coffees and delicious artisan breads and cakes.
Qualified chefs, one from a former Michelin star restaurant in London (Tom Cook of Cook Digs), serve up their fresh foods the way they know you will love them. Catering to all dietary requirements, at Origins Market you will find a dish that suits including vegetarian, vegan and coeliac options.
From traditional wood fired pizza to spicy tacos and cuban sandwiches, from contemporary nasi goreng and Indonesian sate to freshly rolled sushi rolls, you won’t be disappointed.
The food hall serves lunch from Thursday to Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are after a loaf of the best sourdough in the South West or one of Dusty Buns Bakery’s famous cronuts you can count on them to be available from 7am Thursday to Sunday, but get in quick they sell out fast!
The food hall hosts food trucks which are open for lunch and dinner, headed by Bobcha Korean Food Truck (an institution down-south) where you can get fan-faves like Korean sticky pork and rice or Korean fried chicken four days a week, JD Kim is joined by a range of food trucks which change every few weeks, but often feature the likes of Little Hands Dumplings and Casablanca Moroccan.
Combine your dinner with a drink at the Homestead Bar which serves Homestead beer on tap, award winning Mandoon Winery wines and a range of top south west wines and Western Australian spirits from 11am – 6pm, and until 9pm Friday and Saturday.
Primarily family businesses, these eateries combine to be one of the best restaurants in Busselton. And if you are eating with kids, there is an indoor playground near the dining area so the kids can be entertained, as well as the famous Sour Boys Candy who will mesmerise the little ones with their candy pulling and rolling antics.
