Julia Hales Art captures the incredible wildlife and landscapes that surround her. A childhood spent immersed in nature fuelled her passion especially for our native birdlife which features in most of  her paintings.
Julia grew up in Exmouth and Busselton and spent many hours snorkelling and bushwalking with keen naturalist family members. Her love of wildlife increased in recent years after being gifted a telephoto lens to capture detailed photos of the creatures that drew her attention. Most of her works are inspired by these photos or by those taken by family and friends.Original artworks are painted with Windsor and Newton Professional Grade Watercolour Paints on 300g Cotton Pressed Paper. Prints are reproduced with Archival Grade Pigment by a local WA company Fox Lab Fine Art Printmakers.
