I began working with glass 19 years ago after a 30-year career as a successful Potter but it was a gradual change. In 1990 I completed 4 years in Visual Arts at The University of Western Sydney NSW and at its completion I won a major award for my “Marine Fish Teapots” and have also won awards for some of my beautiful fused glass pieces since moving back to Western Australia. Over the years I have participated in many courses to advance my knowledge of working with glass and the scope is endless.
I always love working with colour and I get some amazing results with the glass I use, I get excited opening my kiln to new works of art, my work is always evolving and it’s a matter of stretching my imagination to the endless possibilities.
