HALLOWEEN AT ORIGINS MARKET
Get ready for a spook-tacular time at Origins Market!
We’ll be celebrating Halloween with family-friendly activities in the lead-up to the big day, including Kids Pumpkin Carving workshop, Halloween colouring, photo opportunities and more.
Then on Saturday, 31st October, come dressed in your costumes for our main Halloween celebration with trick or treating and a little spooky fun for the whole family.

Let the kids get their hands dirty as they transform their very own pumpkin into a spooky Halloween creation to take home and display. With guidance from our friendly workshop facilitator, they’ll design, gut and carve their very own pumpkin.
Each booking includes a full pumpkin, use of carving tools and guidance throughout the 1.5-hour workshop.
This activity is recommended for school-aged children, and parental supervision is required as sharp carving tools will be used.
Spaces are limited and our pumpkin carving workshop is always popular, so we recommend booking early to avoid missing out.

Kids can drop in anytime during Market opening hours to colour in a Halloween pumpkin colouring sheet. Give it a face and add your own spooky, silly or colourful details – it’s completely up to you!
There are three age categories, with a winner selected from each: 3–5 years | 6–8 years | 9–12 years
Each winner will receive a Halloween treat bag plus a $20 Origins Market gift voucher to spend on something of their choice around the Market.
Entries close at 6pm on Sunday 1 November.
Halloween Photo Backdrop

Dressed up for Halloween? Stop by our Halloween photo backdrop and snap a spooky photo!
Whether you’re a witch, ghost, superhero or something a little scarier, strike a pose and capture your Halloween look.
The backdrop will be available throughout the Halloween weekend, so drop by anytime during Market opening hours and take your own photos.

Join us for a fun, hands-on craft session where kids can create their very own Halloween masterpiece. From spooky to silly, it’s all about imagination and enjoying the process.

Trick or Treating

Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume, bring your trick-or-treat bag and make your way around Origins Market collecting treats from participating vendors.
Keep an eye out for the Trick or Treat signs displayed at participating stalls around the market; there’ll be treats waiting for little ghosts, witches, superheroes and monsters!
Trick or Treating runs from 4pm–5:30pm only, while treats last.
Phone trivia: halloween edition

Think you know your spooky stuff? Join your parents and put your Halloween knowledge to the test with Halloween Phone Trivia at The Market Bar!
Grab some dinner, settle in and answer a mix of spooky and Halloween-themed trivia questions straight from your phone, with prizes up for grabs along the way.
Trivia kicks off at 6:30pm. Simply scan the QR code in The Market Bar to join the game and play along.
