HEADLINER ACT-CHARLIE YOUNGSON TRIO

Get ready for a powerhouse set from the Charlie Youngson Trio at the Busselton Blues Festival.

WAM award nominated and WAAPA trained songwriter Charlie Youngson is an emerging artist hailing from Bridgetown, WA, whose blend of blues and folk, weaved together with intricate guitar work, has been captivating audiences across Australia. At the age of 20, Charlie’s style is reminiscent of early John Butler, and has led him to open for major touring acts including Steph Strings, Felipe Baldomir, Ash Grunwald, Kim Churchill and Vika and Lynda Bull.

Backed by Owen Loaring (bass) and Toby Keeffe (drums), expect big energy, raw talent, and a set you won’t want to miss.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Get ready for an exciting new addition to the Busselton Blues Fest — our very first Battle of the Bands!

Held in the vibrant setting of Origins Market, this special morning event will kick off from 10am, showcasing an incredible lineup of talented South West local bands and artists. It’s a celebration of live music, community spirit, and emerging talent, all in one lively space.

Visitors are invited to be part of the action by voting for their favourite performers. Simply drop a gold coin into your chosen band’s voting jar — every vote counts, and all proceeds will go directly to support Busselton Hospice, making this not only a fun event but a meaningful one as well.

At the end of the competition, one standout act will take the crown and be awarded a prize, marking the beginning of what promises to become a much-loved annual tradition. This is the first of many Busselton Blues Fest Battle of the Bands competitions to come, and we can’t wait to see it grow year after year.

Come along, support local music, and be part of something special!

POP-UP VENDORS

Discover a vibrant marketplace experience at this year’s Busselton Blues Fest, where an exciting lineup of pop-up vendors will add flavour, creativity, and local charm to the event.

We’re proud to showcase a diverse mix of South West favourites and unique finds. Music lovers can dig through the crates at Uncle Vinyl, offering a curated selection of classic and contemporary vinyl records. Foodies will be spoilt for choice with delicious offerings from Brankas Crackers, Supreme Shrooms, and Krunchilli, each bringing their own bold and tasty creations.

Community spirit is at the heart of the festival, with wonderful local groups such as CWA Busselton and St John WA joining us, alongside a fantastic selection of local beverage producers. Enjoy a refreshing drink from Cheeky Monkey, or sample premium regional wines from Whicher Ridge Wines and Flametree Wines.

With many more vendors to explore, the pop-up market is set to be a lively hub of activity throughout the festival. Whether you’re hunting for something special, indulging in great food and drink, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Come along and support local — it’s all part of the Busselton Blues Fest experience!

kids ACTIVITIES

Bring the whole family along and let the little ones get creative at our Kids Activities area! We’re excited to offer two fun, hands-on workshops designed especially for children, all while supporting a meaningful cause.

For just a gold coin donation (with all proceeds going directly to Busselton Hospice), kids can take part in:

Handprint Mural Workshop – “A Compassionate Community”
Children will have the chance to cut out, decorate, and personalise their own handprint, which will then become part of a large collaborative mural created for Busselton Hospice. This beautiful artwork will represent unity, care, and the spirit of our community coming together.

Musical Instrument Workshop
Let creativity and rhythm shine! Kids can design and build their very own musical instrument using fun, hands-on materials. It’s a great way to spark imagination and get them involved in the musical spirit of the festival.

These workshops are a wonderful opportunity for children to express themselves, have fun, and contribute to a heartfelt local cause. Come along, get involved, and help us build something special—together.

FOOD, SHOPPING & TASTINGS

From artisan shopping and handcrafted local goods to a buzzing food hall serving up global flavours, there’s something for everyone. Sip your way through local wines, craft beers, and spirits with plenty of tastings on offer, then kick back and soak up the live music and festival vibes.

Eat, shop, taste, repeat — all under one roof at Origins Market.
