Owner Darren has saltwater in his veins and has been shucking oysters since he was 8. The local business he runs with partner Jodie is all about sustainably sourced seafood – their octopus is caught in the pristine waters of Geographe Bay, while their oysters are sourced from reputable farms in WA (as well as SA, NSW and Tasmania depending on seasonality). Darren’s well versed in the art of cooking octopus and creates his delicious marinades using locally sourced vinegars, and even homegrown vegetables and herbs.
