Using a spindle is a very economical way to learn handspinning for a beginner. They are inexpensive to buy, and easy to make.
In an hour, you will learn how to spin yarn on a drop spindle, a useful and therapeutic skill to master. Convert raw fibre into yarn that you can use.
Spindles were the original tool to create a strong continuous fibre from short staples of fibre and is practised in all cultures around the world.
