Flametree Wines was established in 2007 by the Towner family. In 15 years, they have become an esteemed winery, producing elegant wines that reflect the best of the Margaret River Region.Â

A team of friendly and knowledgeable staff manage the Winery and Cellar Door located on Geographe Bay, halfway between Busselton and Dunsborough. Built by Adrian Zorzi in 2006, the Cellar Door delights lovers of design with its magnificent high ceilings and Hamptons style architecture.Â

The road to recognition was relatively quick for the winery, you could say it was an overnight success. In 2008 their first ever red, the 2007 Flametree Cabernet Merlot, was awarded the Jimmy Watson trophy. For those unfamiliar, The Jimmy Watson trophy is a big deal, it is the most prestigious award for red wine in Australia. Chief Winemaker Cliff Royle continues to uphold this recognition, consistently producing award-winning wines.Â
Now, Flametree is known for their fine wines but don’t let this put you off, they are super laid back. The staff are warm and welcome everyone, even people that are just a little bit curious about wines. They love offering all the Margaret River classics alongside some quirky wine styles and varieties. Flametree offer a wine for every palate!Â

Origins Market gives you a chance to experience the wines in a completely different way. If you don’t have the time or would rather not travel around visiting cellar doors this is the place for you! Flametree have a selection of their wines at the markets, you can enjoy complimentary tastings in a relaxed atmosphere with all the benefits of going to the winery.Â
The team are also constantly looking for ways to share their knowledge and demystify wines. Flametree regularly team up with other market vendors for workshops and events, like AwShucks! a fantastic evening of seafood and alcohol pairings.Â
