Owned by Rob and Clare Underdown, Fine Food Providore brings together some of the best producers in the Margaret River region.Â
The couple also own and manage Gale Force Farm in Metricup and cold pressed juice business, Livity Margaret River. Wanting to give their children the same lifestyle and experiences as he had growing up in the country, Rob and wife Clare bought the farm in 2014.Â
Gale Force Farm, well-known for their organic eggs, has always made the environment their priority. Boasting a large veggie patch full of seasonal produce, the family make every effort to be self-sustaining. Â
The farm became certified organic in 2017, and were the first truly organic egg producer in the Margaret River region. Since then, the number of Hyline Brown hens has reduced, and they have diversified to include Dorper sheep, Black Angus Cattle, Wessex Saddleback pigs and ducks. Â
Clare and Rob not only stock their own produce at Fine Food Providore but have been able to source artisan products from local farmers and producers. In doing so, the stall supports the many small producers in the region who don’t have farm shops by giving them exposure.Â
