On Thursday 25 May Origins Market hosted it’s inaugural Morning Tea as part of the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea to raise vital funds for people impacted by cancer.
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Origins invited the community to join them for a morning of tea, treats and fundraising for a very worthy cause.
Thank you to the guests who attended our morning tea, they were served a delicious selection of treats provided by vendors Obison Coffee Roasters and Cakes by Tara.
We also thank our vendors for their generosity in supporting this event through donations of raffle and door prizes. You’re amazing! They include:
- Julia Hales ArtÂ
- The Succulent LadyÂ
- Eartheartsoull
- Rose Henry Wire ArtÂ
- Mud & Stone PotteryÂ
- JJ Klay
- Hanging Hearts
- Sandara the Label
- Pavlovas Garden
- The Clayful PotterÂ
- Redgum JewelleryÂ
- Capricopia Farm
- Flix JewelleryÂ
- Vasse Valley HempÂ
- Sour BoysÂ
We’re very proud to announce that $2071 was raised for the Cancer Council from ticket sales, the raffle and donations on the day, which will go towards supporting those impacted by cancer.
This will assist with much needed funds for world-class cancer research, which has already increased cancer survival rates from 49% in the 1980s to 69% today.
It will also help with much needed funds for the 150,000 Australians who are diagnosed with cancer every year. With support services in higher demand than ever, every bit counts.
We look forward to being part of this very important initiative, which is close to many of our hearts, again next year.
Thank you again to the community, our vendors and staff for making this happen.
